Reseller agreement

Last updated 30 September 2026 · between the operator of ORYX Business ("we") and the partner who applies ("you").

1. What you do

You introduce businesses to ORYX Business using your referral link or code, or by inviting them from the partner portal. You act as an independent contractor — not as our employee or agent — and may not sign contracts, promise prices, discounts or features, or accept payments on our behalf.

2. Commission

For each business you refer that becomes a paying customer, you earn a percentage of what it pays us for its subscription (excluding VAT), for as long as it keeps paying. The percentage depends on how many of your referred businesses are active and paying in the month:

Commission is earned only once we have received the customer's payment. If a payment is refunded or reversed, the commission on it is deducted from your next statement. A business is linked to the partner who referred it first (a referral link is remembered for 60 days). You may not refer yourself or businesses you own.

3. Statements and payment

We prepare a commission statement every month and pay it by EFT into the bank account in your partner profile, normally within 15 days after the month ends. Amounts below R 100.00 are carried over to the next month. If you are VAT registered, VAT is added to your commission; you are responsible for your own income tax and for giving us a valid tax invoice where the law requires it.

4. Changes to the programme

We may change commission rates or rules with 30 days' notice by email; commission already earned is not affected.

5. Conduct and personal information

Represent ORYX Business honestly, don't send spam, and only invite people who agreed to hear from you. Treat your clients' personal information according to POPIA. You see only your referred businesses' names, plans and status — never their records.

6. Ending the agreement

Either side may end this agreement at any time by email. Commission earned up to that date will be paid; we may withhold commission for fraud or a breach of this agreement. South African law applies. Questions: finhub@jacobsinc.co.
